THE CODE CRACKERS OF MILTON MIDDLE SCHOOL
A Report By Special Agent Grumpy

Milton Middle School Electronics Club

Dateline: September, 19th 1998, Milton, Nebraska

Special Agent Grumpy of "Realm of the Eighth Dwarf" concludes his report on the encryption software being developed at the Milton Middle School in Milton, Nebraska, population 27,038.  Dead center is ground zero for a new e-mail text encryption matrix developed by the Milton Middle School electronics club.  After researching and infiltrating this organization I have found the results disappointing at best.  My review:  The students at Milton Middle School may hold a blue ribbon in animal husbandry but they have a long way to go in developing a top notch encryption matrix.  I cracked the code in one weekend.  It would seem that the encryption method is based around commonly misspelled words, regional slang and bad grammar.  Running the encrypted message through Microsoft Word 2.0Ěs spell check and then again through Microsoft Word 5.0Ěs grammar check quickly revealed any of the secrets held dearly by these corn shucking hicks.  As a matter of fact, I am not sure if this was an encryption matrix at all or just back woods ignorance.
