In a
daring move today Koko the talking monkey purchased Roy
Rogers' mounted horse Trigger, along with Dale Evans' horse
Buttermilk and Roy's faithful sidekick German shepherd Bullet.
All three are famous for being mounted and on display in
the Roy Rogers museum. When the museum began to have financial
trouble all three mounted animals were put up for auction.
Paying three times the auction estimate Koko seemed extremely
excited about the purchase. Asked what Koko planned to do
with the stuffed animals Koko said, "A new movie titled
Trigger Does Dallas is already in production.
Trigger
was ridden by Rogers in every one of his motion pictures,
finding his own fame in the process. Now it is Trigger's
time to ride and mount in his own motion picture. "Trigger
is the most famous horse on Earth, he was a natural choice
for a big budget Hollywood film. We here at Goat Daddy feel
that people will come to see Trigger in droves," said
a Goat Daddy spokesman. It is well known the reputation
of Trigger when he was alive. He was quite the ladies horse
in Hollywood. Although it was also known that he had a problem
maintaining his lasting power. Now that he is stuffed his
little problem is finally solved.
Buttermilk
and Bullet will also be in Trigger Does Dallas
as a love triangle develops with a cliffhanger at the end.
Trigger Does Dallas is the first full length
motion picture that is being made since Goat Daddy was acquired
by Koko last May. "We are already looking at new scripts
for a sequel possibly titled Trigger, Mounted Again,"
said Koko. It looks like huge profits are in the works for
the new Goat Daddy.
