Conspiracy Theory 2000 - An Explanation

PIXEL 255 - When the Watcher Becomes The Watched...

In a discarded transcript discovered by Secret Agent Monkey,  the reality of PIXEL 255 was first brought to my attention in 1992.  Evidently, in 1987 an unknown U.S. government agency working through the FCC (Federal Communication Commission) secured exclusive rights to a little piece of  screen real-estate known as PIXEL 255, (named for its position in the grid of tiny luminous points that form images on all cathode ray tube or liquid crystal displays such as TV sets, computer monitors, security monitors even digital wrist watches).   In conjunction, the same body of the FCC also met with the NUC (National Utilities Commission) to author an agreement that would allow the FCC the right to install ìBlack Boxî monitoring units at local transfer stations that are used to distribute electricity from generating plants to local neighborhoods.  You may ask yourself, ìWhat does the FCC have to do with the Utilities Commission?î  Nothing that we at Realm of the 8th Dwarf can figure out.

It has been suggested by The Wing Lee Consortium that a frame relay grid is being established for the transmission of low grade images known as ìreport cardsî captured from TV and computer monitors everywhere via PIXEL 255 technology.  The signal is transmitted through the power cable of your TV or computer directly through the wall socket, where it rides the alternating current to the local transfer station and finds the FCC approved ìblack boxî.  From there, who knows where it goes.  Perhaps beamed up to Global Positioning Satellites (If you remember from last months article, two transpondors are unaccounted for on the TelStat Model 5505 satellites used for GPS systems).

I asked an agent from TWLC how the government could possibly make use of this overload of information.  How can you monitor virtually every house hold and business in the United States?  TC of TWLC responded ìUsing flash capture compression, the government can create a low grade database of report cards that show an image, the time and date and the television show you are watching.  If you are on your computer, they can monitor web sites that you visit and capture letters and e-mail.î

In an effort to corroborate this story we put out our feelers and did find several interesting leads.

Bill Wiedalman, Research and Development  at Radio Shack Corporate Offices in Perth Amvoy, NJ said he had no knowledge of PIXEL 255 technology.  Later we recovered a discarded fax from a Radio Shack dumpster referring to a new product called the P255 Scrambling Power Adapter.  The fax referred to the device as ìYet another box of crap parts we can unload on our client base; demographic - frustrated males 18-60î.

A spokesperson for Bill Gates (Microsoft) said that the concept in itself was completely absurd and with out foundation.  Later that day CNN broadcast a press conference where Bill Gates took full credit for PIXEL255 technology and stated that it would all be explained in his upcoming book ìLove My Way... A Journal of My Days On The Road With The Psychedelic Fursî.  He then pelted himself with a pie and left.  Officials at Microsoft explained that Mr. Gates was extremely distraught over his failure to secure a patend on the binary number system.
